The LCD separator machine is used for separating a broken LCD screen from the rest of the cracked LCD display that belongs to a Samsung, iPhone or any other brand of smartphones. The same machine represents the first step in the process of LCD repair or even refurbishing for the same LCD screens. Today, anyone engaged in this process can choose two distinctive methods of separating the broken glass – these include freezing separation and hot separation.
The process of hot separation is a method that includes putting a broken LCD display on a heated plate for about 60 seconds. The plate is heated to 90 degrees Celsius and will gradually melt the glue located between the glass and the LCD display. After that, a cutting wire has to be used to fully separate them. Because this method is very affordable, it is currently very popular.
The other method includes the freezing LCD separation. In this case, a broken display is placed in a freezer set to a minus 150 degrees Celsius for 60 seconds. In this extremely low temperature, the glue will stop being adhesive and it will unstick, which makes separating LCD and the glass surface a very easy process. The machines that provide the option for LCD freezing separations are good for businesses which provide their services to a large number of customers, for example, those which repair more than 300 pieces on an everyday basis.
I wanted to be able to compress more screens at a time. It was difficult finding machines in the market that had the power to compress multiple screens without taking up much more room in my shop. I found out that OCAmaster’s OM-A1 does exactly what I need without taking up much room at all. It truly is a quality machine and I will continue to use OCAmaster.
